Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park
Today you will be picked up by an air-conditioned shuttle from Johannesburg International Airport at approximately 9h30. You will be taken directly to the Kruger National Park for your Kruger National Park safari.
At the Kruger National Park Safari rest camp you will be introduced to your African safari guides waiting with welcome drinks. Your guides will do a briefing on the Kruger National Park Safari. Enjoy the first exciting safari game drive of your Kruger National Park safari in an open safari vehicle.
The evening will be spent around the fire at the campsite - listening to stories of the local African guides whilst enjoying dinner. Dinner Included.
Days 2 & 3: Kruger National Park
At sunrise you depart on your morning safari game drive in search of all the fascinating wildlife in this prime game viewing area of Kruger National Park. You will return to camp for a hot brunch after which there is time to relax – perhaps cooling off in the pool or taking a nap. A light lunch will be served in the afternoon before you set off on a 3 – 4 hour afternoon game drive until the gates close.
Marvel at the wonders of open fire cooking, whilst discussing the wildlife sightings of the day with your safari guides. Dinner will be served at the camp site, where you will enjoy the unique sounds of the bush. Brunch, Light Lunch and Dinner Included
Days 4 & 5: Kruger National Park – Flying Lions Camp
This morning on your Kruger National Park holiday, after coffee and rusks, you will leave camp for an early drive through the Park, to our Flying Lions Campsite where you will spend the night. This drive will introduce you to a different part of the Park, as the vegetation, and thus game changes as you move north in the Park. Brunch is served en-route at a picnic spot.
Here you will have the chance to stretch your legs. Your arrival at the Flying Lions Camp in the private game reserve is scheduled for the late afternoon where light snacks will be served.
The campsite has a viewing deck, which overlooks a spot lit waterhole. The waterhole is popular with local wildlife, and you may want to spend some time just watching the comings and goings. There is time to freshen-up before the evening drive. A night drive is a unique opportunity to see the more nocturnally active species.
Upon your return to camp, dinner will be waiting. Your days are spent on extensive game viewing activities, with a choice of a bush walks and game drives, and ample time to relax and enjoy the area. Brunch, Light Lunch and Dinner Included.
Day 6: Flying Lions Bush Camp - Johannesburg
This morning you wake up to an early breakfast and prepare for your transfer through the Kruger Park to Johannesburg. This is, unfortunately, the last game activity of the safari, but it will give you the opportunity to see some of the animals you may have missed. Brunch Included.
