The interiors of Jaci's Tree Lodge proudly showcases the vibrant colours and unique crafts found in Southern Africa. Jaci has created a truly African lodge, enhanced by a superior personal service and a very intimate safari experience. Jaci's Tree Lodge - with 8 Tree Houses, each encompassing a giant Tambotie or Leadwood Tree.

Each Tree House is constructed amongst the Riverine forest on stilts, up to 6 meters above the ground, built utilizing a combination of rosewood, thatch and stacking doors. The forest surrounds are invited in, to compliment your stay with us.

An open plan, en-suite bathroom with an enormous stone bath and outdoor “Jungle Shower” allow you to enjoy your forest surrounds.

Relax on the deck in front of your room, in the main lodge, or wander to the forest pool to cool off.

Raised wooden walkways, suspended in the forest canopy lining the banks of the Marico River,connect with theMain Lodge and its generous facilities.

Accommodation at Jaci's Tree Lodge

The open plan bathroom features an enormous stone bath and handmade copper taps as well as an outdoor "jungle" shower.

Luxurious silk cushions, cotton bed linen complimented by burnt orange suede beanbags, invite you to lie on the deck to admire the stars or curl up in front of your fireplace.

Activities

Early morning and evening game drives and/or walks are the highlight of your stay.

The spacious open-plan main building at Jaci's Tree Lodge includes a magnificent bar and lounge area separated from the dining area by a 4 sided open fireplace.

Expect outstanding meals from our open plan kitchen, bountiful cosmopolitan food!

Enjoy outdoor dining on deck above the forest floor, enjoy the night symphony and the vibrant stars above!

What to bring

Comfortable walking shoes, sun hat, sunglasses, sun block, cameras and binoculars, light, neutral coloured clothing, swimming costume. Warm jackets are essential in winter (May - October).

Arrival and Departures

Please be advised that all gates into the Reserve close at 20:00 except Molatedi Gate which closes at 16:30 and all guests driving into the Reserve must please get updated route maps directly from the Lodge.

Children

Children of all ages are welcome at Jaci's.

Children aged 12 and under are comfortably accommodated in their parents' room on their own stretcher.

Children aged 7 years and under are taken on their own Game Drive during the day by one of the rangers - this is a kiddie's drive and is geared totally to the children's interests and age level. The Game Reserve does not allow children under the age of 12 to do WALKS inside the Reserve.

Baby sitters are provided to look after the "littlies" while the parents are on the Game Activities.

Children aged 8 to 12 on the Game Drives with their parents are also given an earlier dinner in the dining room, when they return from the Game Drive. Jaci's found this worked very well as children are hungry and tired by the time they serve the main dinner.

Weddings

Jaci's provides outstanding venues, complete with a team of people to ensure your special day is hassle free. At Jaci'sLodges they assist you in planning the perfect day. They have catered for several weddings from 80 to 5 guests, each created around the individual needs of the wedding couple.

Their wedding package includes the usual daily activities and meals. The extra details (flowers, pastor, photographer, etc.) are privately arranged and we can assist once everything is at the lodge.

Jaci'sLodges can accommodate 36 adults (between Safari and Tree Lodge) which allows two different venues for the ceremony and for the reception.
