Welgevonden Game Reserve
Sediba Lodge

Sediba means 'spring' or 'source' in the traditional Sotho language. Sediba consists of two all-suite lodges; Letlapala and Letlapa.
Sediba is an exclusive haven of stylish tranquillity bathed luxury surrounded by wild Africa in all her splendour. Situated in the malaria-free Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, Sediba is only a three-hour drive or one hour flight from Johannesburg.
Guests at Sediba are assured of personalised service and attention around the clock. Gourmet chefs prepare excellent cuisine and our wine cellar is stocked with exclusive vintage wines.
Accommodation at Sediba Lodge
Floating between the towering trees and the forest floor, each of Sediba's fifteen-suites embrace the natural environment, whilst offering the ultimate in sumptuous comfort and tranquillity.
The hand-crafted and secluded suites are designed with spacious double bedrooms, en-suite lounges with fire places and open-plan bathrooms. Along with modern day comforts such as air-conditioning and towel warmers, each suite has a private viewing deck overlooking the majestic Waterberg mountains.
The decks have relaxing built-in Jacuzzi’s and outdoor showers for guest enjoyment in complete privacy.
Every detail in Sediba’s unique suites has been carefully selected to create a refined balance of wild luxury.
Letlapa
Letlapa meaning 'rock' lodge, situated in a valley with a perennial stream running through it. Letlapa has ten double suites and is, as a result of the design and sheer size of the suites, the more spectacular of the two lodges.
The suites in Letlapa are linked to each other and to the main lodge by boardwalks including one wheel-chair friendly path. Of its ten exclusive suites, one suite has been specially prepared to accommodate our disabled guests.
Letlapala
Letlapala meaning 'the place of the sun' is aptly named as it is situated on one of the highest points of the reserve, basking in both sunrise and sunset and providing guests with spectacular views over the Welgevonden Reserve.
Letlapala is the more intimate of the two lodges as it has a mere five double guest suites and one main lodge. In the main lodge guests can enjoy private candle-lit dinners on the viewing deck or around the fire in the traditional Boma. Every aspect at the lodge is carefully designed to seamlessly blend into the environment whilst providing all thinkable comfort.
