Nungubane Game Lodge 




The Welgevonden sister lodges of Shidzidzi and Nungubane are a mere 5 minutes apart by Land Rover.
The two camps each have 5 luxury chalets, and can accommodate a combined total of 20 guests, ensuring both personal and exceptional service.
Accommodation at NungubaneGame Lodge
Each of the luxurious thatched chalets has its own private game viewing deck with majestic views over the sprawling reserve where guests can view the splendour of an African sunrise to the sounds of the wakening African bush.
Bathrooms are en-suite and each chalet has the additional feature of an open-air shower to add to the thrill of your experience in the African bush. For your convenience all chalets are fitted with ceiling fans, and have tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and bathroom amenities.

Facilities
The main lodge at each of the camps house general facilities including reception, a lounge with a huge deck, a dining room and a bar and a curio shop where various African goods are available. During the day laze in the sun at either of the lodge swimming pools, relax in the cool comfort of the lodge lounge, or spend some time watching the ever-present game wandering to and from the lodge waterholes.
Activities
Both Shidzidzi and Nungubane offer two game drives per day to guests. Drives are in open-sided Land Rover vehicles specially adapted for game viewing, and experienced game rangers accompany all drives to share their knowledge of the plant, animal, insect and bird life with guests.
For the more energetic and for those wishing to get closer to nature, walking safaris can be arranged on request. A game ranger accompanies guests on the walk. And for a totally different experience, helicopter flights can be arranged.
Conference Facilities
Conference facilities are available at both Shidzidzi and at Nungubane but delegate numbers are limited to a maximum of 8 delegates (6 delegates sharing accommodation and 2 in single accommodation). If a single lodge is used or up to 16 if both lodges are used (again sharing accommodation with 12 delegates in twin rooms and 4 in single rooms with king-size double beds). The venue is ideal for upper management 'bosberaad' meetings and standard conference equipment includes Overhead Projectors, Flip Charts and White Boards. Additional equipment can be arranged on request.
Incentive Travel
Shidzidzi and Nungubane are ideal for incentive programmes and a full agenda can be created for corporate groups including team building and other group activities.
Weddings
Shidzidzi and Nungubane make for an ideal wedding venue for small and intimate weddings of up to 18 guests plus the bridal couple. The wedding package is created around the needs of the bride and groom ensuring it will be an occasion to remember.

Summer months:
October through to April, this is also normally our rainy season. The days are warm to hot, with evenings cool and pleasant.22 to 38 degrees Celsius.
Winter months:
May to September, the days are mild with the evenings and mornings cool to cold.5 to 22 degrees Celsius.

What to take
Sun block, sunglasses, a cap or hat, walking shoes, personal medications, cameras, extra film. During summer a light jacket, during winter a warm jacket for the game drives. Don’t forget your swimwear in the summer months.

We regret we do not allow children under the age of 12 years, unless the whole camp is booked.
