Ravineside Lodge is situated on the upper escarpment of the 22000 ha Entabeni Private Game Reserve in the malaria-free Waterberg region of Limpopo Province overlooking the gorge.

Under the extending shadow of Entabeni Rock, you will find open grasslands surrounded by majestic mountains, natural rock formations and verdant bush.  There is an abundance of waterfalls, springs, crystal clear mountain pools and streams.  Entabeni offers not only guided walks and game drives but also bush picnics and dinners enjoyed in magical surroundings and bush venues, especially at Boekenhout and the breathtaking Hanglip view point.

24 Luxury en-suite bedrooms,including 9 family rooms. On the banks of Lake Entabeni luxurious and elegantly furnished en-suite bedrooms are linked with thatched walkways to the Reception, Restaurant ,Conference and Boma areas.

Weather Conditions

Moderate climate with a summer rainfall. Temperatures range respectively 2°C and 20°C in July and 14°C and 30°C in January. Frost is common during winter months, with an average of 61 to 90 days of frost annually.

What to take

Jackets for evenings, Camera, Binoculars, Comfortable walking shoes, Insect repellant, Sun Screen, hat & batteries.

Child Policy

Children under six years of age will not be permitted on game drives. Where possible, depending on the number of children in-house and the availability of additional vehicles, special game drives for children can be arranged. These drives cannot be guaranteed, usually take place after breakfast.

Children under 12 years of age are not allowed to participate in the game walks offered at Entabeni Private Game Game Reserve.

Cognisance must be taken of the fact that Entabeni Private Game Reserve is unfenced and extra precautions need to be taken to ensure the safety of children.
