Amazulu Game Reserve

The Amazulu Private Game Reserve is made up of a varied ecosystem. This diversity includes savannah, mountains and wetlands which makes it the ideal home to the "Big Five" as well as giraffe, warthog and hyena not to mention over 15 different antelope species, hippopotamus and crocodile. The wetlands offer no less than 400 bird species, a place of paradise and comfort.

Situated on the banks of the Mkuze River in the northern part of KwaZulu-Natal, near the border with Swaziland.The Amazulu Game Reserve, a privately owned eco-region that is continuously expanding one finds mountain grasslands, wetlands and valley bushlandswhich are unfenced, allowing the game full freedom to traverse over this large reserve.

Long after the predators and the abundance of smaller animals vanish into foliage and shadows, the visitor re-evaluates these sights, sounds and smells. The voice of freedom echoes in the mind forever.
