Situated in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Kings Camp reflects
the charm and romance of a colonial past in a pristine corner of
unspoilt Africa. Kings Camp is situated facing an open savanna plain
with a waterhole, which is frequented by a wide variety of wildlife, day
and night.
Eleven generously spacious colonial suites are luxuriously
equipped with air-conditioning, Victorian ball-and-claw bath, indoor and
outdoor double shower, fully stocked mini-bar and private verandah.
Dark tones of wood and thatch offset the natural colours of the bushveld.

luxuriously equipped with romantic soft cascading mosquito nets, remote
controlled air-conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, Victorian
ball-and-claw bath, indoor and outdoor double shower, fully stocked
mini-bar and private verandah with hammock, all combine to make Kings
Camp the ultimate in luxury accommodation. Dark tones of wood and thatch
offset the natural colours of the bushveld.
For your comfort and convenience, other room amenities
include robes, mosquito repellent, an umbrella, hairdryer and a torch.
Your suite is also equipped with its own safe and telephone.

Rates Include:
VAT, all meals and accommodation, tea/coffee, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks. Two game drives daily with refreshments and nature walks.
Rates Exclude:
Cellar Wines, premium brand spirits, champagne, cognacs, cigars and cigarettes. Telephone calls, curio-shop purchases, transfers, gratuities, additional activities, wellness treatments and laundry. Tourism levy of R10-00 per person per night. Timbavati Conservation Levy R 100.00 per person. (Subject to change) Timbavati Road Levy R 80.00 per vehicle (for guests self driving).

Extra information
Facilities: Lounge/dining room, bar, pool terrace and a game viewing platform which overlooks a very active waterhole. Other facilities include the curio shop, laundry, valet, fax, gym and library with internet facilities.
Meals/drinks: There is an exceptional wine-cellar and South African cuisine is served. Any specialised dietary requests will be catered for - prior notice required.
Therapy Lapa: The following therapies are available: Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Body massage.

Game Drives
Morning and afternoon game drives with knowledgeable rangers in
open vehicles. You will be served tea, coffee and biscuits on your
morning game drive and drinks and canapés on your afternoon game drive.
Your afternoon game drive gets back after dark, which gives you the
opportunity to spot our nocturnal animals with a spotlight.
Walking Safaris
Walks through the bush take place just after breakfast, on request, and is the best way of experiencing the “finer” aspects of the bushveld. Your knowledgeable ranger will guide you through the fauna and flora of the Timbavati Nature Reserve, pointing out insects, grasses, trees and the smaller species that are all an integral part of the Timbavati Nature Reserve.
